Please note that devNOTEs have NOT been sent out this time. There’s over 600 members, you can imagine how long that would take. So please, spread the word that the Tails Club is having a new contest!

We, at the Tails Club, are throwing our third contest, as promised. What is the theme this time? Well read on!

Starting 7 August 2005
Ending 30 September 2005, no more entries accepted past Midnight CST (That's GMT -6 for most European people)
Public voting begins 1 October 2005
Public voting ends 8 October 2005

          Information about the contest

Tails has just returned from a big summer vacation with his friends. He looks through the photos taken during the time and picks his favourite to go on his wall. Which photo will it be?

What you’ve got to do is draw the photo Tails picks. A silly moment, a funny event, just Tails and the scenery, or something like that. Tails’ vacation took place where ever you want, be it in the cold mountains, on a sunny beach, a camp in a forest, a boat trip, etc. You decide which friends he took with him, like Sonic, Knuckles, Amy, or any of the rest of the Sonic Universe crew (please note this means ONLY official characters, not fan-made ones).

          Contest Rules

In order for your submission to be approved, all entries must follow these guidelines:

You HAVE to be a Tails Club member. If you are not, feel free to devNote us and you will be added to the members list as soon as possible.
One submission per user. If you wish to change or update your entry, let us know so we can re-judge it.
Tails must be present in the submission, preferably be the main focus as well. This is, after all, a TAILS club!
Your submission can’t be a simple sketch. Pencil shading is fine, but we prefer you sent us coloured work. Basically, nothing that you would submit into the “Scraps” section.
If you want to add text, please do not add speech bubbles into the actual photo. However, feel free to write a few lines underneath the photo (like a caption) or in the description if you like.
No hentai/yaoi/yuri/insect/bongage nor any sick/gross submissions or implies. NOTHING SEXUALLY suggestive at all. We must respect that there are young people and those who are strictly against the style are in this club.
No anti-Tails or OOC submissions. (OOC = Out of Character. ex: Tails is doing something that he's not commonly known for doing.)


          How to submit your entry

- An idea to start with. You may use any media to portray this idea. If your work is 3D, you can take a photo of it and send us that.
- Send us a devNOTE with “contest 3” or something similar in the subject, just for organisation, and include a link to your submission. Once we’ve seen and approved your entry, we will add it to a separate journal entry for this contest. You may also reply to this journal entry with a link to your deviation!
- Additionally, we may include are own personal comments on the deviation itself when judging the entry, but that's just a heads up.


          Voting and Prizes

The voting will be public. Another, separate journal entry will be made for the votes. Members reply with the number of the deviation they like best. Depending on the amount of submissions, members might be allowed to pick two favourites. Members who vote for their own submission will be disqualified and withdrawn from the club. During the voting process, the staff will not log onto the club so they cannot be accused of changing the scores. At the end of the voting period, the staff will count up the votes and announce the winners. Staff will log onto the account again the day the winners are announced.
The prizes are:

First Place - First place receives EITHER a free picture request from =tehcutiepie OR a 3 month subscription!

Second Place - Second place receives EITHER a free picture request from ~dpsiko OR a 1 month subscription!

Third Place - Third place receives a free picture request from either ~dpsiko or =tehcutiepie!

If there is a tie, it is possible that the two submissions will receive a separate voting session. The one with the most votes receives the higher place.
